Who we are
Clinical Diagnostix is an alternative provider of cardiorespiratory investigations and Clinical Physiologist staffing for both NHS and private
patients and works with healthcare providers to develop and optimise their services and resources.
Our aim is to provide a flexible, practical, "no strings" option to help meet waiting time directives and provide sessional technical staffing
support for services: an ancillary service, giving clinicians an additional pathway of access to a range of diagnostic investigations.
Clinical Diagnostix has been established for over five years and has been awarded Departmental accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography.
Each of our team members has over 25 years clinical and managerial NHS work experience and are all registered with the
RCCP
and the
BSE.
We have continually developed by increasing both activity in established services and in the range of diagnostic services provided.
We are committed to keeping pace with clinical and technological advancement through ongoing investment in state-of-the art medical technology
enabling us to adapt to the developing service needs of our clients.
How we meet your needs
Co-operation:
We work in cooperation with several independent ultrasound/ diagnostics providers to develop flexible and responsive, community based, echo
services. We can be an integral part of heart failure and other community based clinics, providing echo investigations and related advice on
results when requested by clinicians or specialist nurses.
Staffing:
We are staffed by qualified, experienced Clinical Physiologists who are registered under the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists
(RCCP) and accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) and The Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP).
We are supported by a cardiology consultant.
Time effective:
Our considerable experience enables a high volume of tests to be undertaken accurately within the shortest possible timescale.
Flexibility
Our services can be used on an ad hoc basis for management of waiting times and targets, or as a regular service commitment as you wish.
Adapable report formats:
We can adapt the test report formats and conclusions within agreed terminology (within the limitations of national professional guidelines),
to suit the requirements of clinicians and will give an indication of whether further investigation or referral may need to be considered.
Training:
We are happy to offer echo training to any GPs with a special interest who were wishing to develop echo expertise, or work within the heart
failure service.
Information security:
We use a secure, web-based echo image storage and reporting system, iCardiogram, which enables clinical staff to review echo images and reports
remotely, for review of urgent/significant clinical findings and for audit purposes. All of our systems are pass-word protected and we are registered
under, and adhere to, the data protection act.
